Nature in Berlin: Lübars - walk around the peat bogs and swamps

Lübars used to be a village and till today keeps the old style and atmosphere - beautiful place reachable with Berlin Bus line 222. Village itslef is worth visiting but even more the protected green ladscape north from it. It is 7km walk that perfectly fits kids and is also doable with pram. On the way you can meat: horses, sand dunes, swamps, small rivers, lakes, birds and many other those small things that makes kids keep walking.

Botanischer Garten Berlin before Christmas - the quintessence of German decorations

Fourth year in the raw Botanischer Garten prepares a trial in the night through decorated with lights parts of the garden. Nice walk with children - fairy tail atmosphere. I only recommend to come short before the opening - at the beginning is less people (and maybe short before closing too) because in the middle the crowd can spoil the atmosphere.
