Rumpál: walk throught the forest and climbing with kids

In Mai is just beautiful, but some places are even more special. For example deciduous forest, befor the leaves will grow and make it dark. During the spring deciduous forest is full of flowers and very small fresh green leaves on the trees...so fresh and alive! Near Rumpal the forest is mature (protected area) with many deciduous trees and is amazing in Mai. On the top are small rocks - good for climb also with kids and a view on the part of the landscape below.

Fichtel Mountains (Upper Franconia) - german classic

From parking (reachable by car or bike) near Karches you can start a walk to the two highest peaks of Fichtel Mountains: Schneeberg and Ochsenkopf. Althought Osenkopf is smaller it is definetly more atracitive to choose: on the way are sources of drinkable water and souce of Weißmain (Weißmainquelle), picturesque rocks formations (visited also by Goethe) and on top a restaurant with traditional Bavarian food and free stone tower that let you look around from above the forest. Peak with restaurant and observation tower is just german classic for me. All together definetly to recommend.

Březina: prehistoric settlement, beautiful forest and views.

Březina is an early medieval and perhaps prehistoric fortified settlement near the village of the same name in Rokycany district. It is located in the western part of the Křivoklát Highlands on the hill of Hradiště. Its area is protected as a cultural monument of Czechia. To the hill leads the red marked tourist route from Březina. Path is short: definitely suitable for a walk for kids and also some prams. It leads through mixed forest with very old trees. On the top there is a small pavilion to get rest and enjoy the view. Peace with great atmosphere.

Baltic Sea in Rowy

Like in the most places at the Polish coastline, in Rowy you can enjoy wide beaches, with an aromatic pine forest behind the dunes. On the east and west the pine forest grows on wider areas and on the east part creates Słowiński National Park. Great place for kids and adults.

Jeleni vrch on the way Prague - Berlin

On the east side of highway Prague - Berlin, just a few kilometers before the border there is a beautiful forest for the break: Jeleni vrch near Telnice. The peak is covered with forest so it is not crucial to get there, but the area itself is nice and offers diverse nature to experience.

Białowieża: among the primary forest

Białowieża is a village int the east of Poland, surrounded by Białowieża Forest - the last part of the virgin forest that once stretched across the European Plain. If you wanted to feel the original nature it is a place to go.

Gotzer-Berg: Panorama on the Havelland and outline of Berlin

A fantastic panorama on the Havel land, with the silhouette of Berlin, waits for the visitors of the viewing platform on the Gotzer Berg (109m high). To the top lead paths from all the side, through the forest. The direction signs on the platform inform about the cities and places near and far. The platform has high of 42m.
